LED lighting could be the future of home lighting

One of the best known trends catching on in lighting recently is the application of Light Emitting Diodes, otherwise known as LED lights. Although this technology has been around since the 1960's, widespread use is on the rise today due in large part to the technology's energy efficiency.

Without making it too complex, LEDs work by moving electrons through a semiconductor to create light.
