Hot Tub Gazebos

Hot tubs bring to mind notions of relaxation, indulgence, and fun. The styles and uses of hot tubs are many and once the decision to purchase a hot tub is made, the next decision is where to put it. Building a hot tub gazebo not only gives your new tub a place to call home but you can customize your gazebo to be as big or small and as multi-functional or simple as you want.

Gazebos can be made out of several different materials such as wood or vinyl. Vinyl gazebos have the benefit of being inherently moisture -resistant but they are usually more expensive than wood gazebos and often do not look as elaborate. Some woods are inherently moisture and rot-resistant such as cedar, teak and redwood and these are common materials used in constructing hot tub gazebos. Wood-vinyl composites provide the look of wood with the moisture-resistant properties of vinyl. Even with wood hot tub gazebos, treating the wood can make it last even longer then left untreated.

The size and shape of your hot tub gazebo will depend on factors such as climate, size of the tub, and overall purpose of having it. For example, if your hot tub will be exclusively a place for you and your family to have some alone time to relax, a simple and small hot tub gazebo may be perfect for you. If you intend of having lots of parties where guests can use your hot tub, you may opt for a large, rectangular gazebo with the hot tub on one end and a cooking, eating, and seating area on the other. If you live in a northern climate and want to use to your hot tub year-round, building a hot tub gazebo with glass and screened windows keeps the winter air out and lets summer air in. People living in warmer climates may want a hot tub gazebo with screened windows or no windows at all.

Gazebos are customarily octagon-shaped, single room quarters and they still can be constructed as such but do not have to be. Modern hot tub gazebos can square, rectangular, have attached pergolas or decks, have multiple rooms, and a host of different styles of windows, roofs, and interior and exterior ornamentation. Even the style of hot tub can vary, from the familiar square tub with whirlpool jets to a Japanese ofuro or a huge, deep exercise and therapy tub. The gazebo may be a free-standing structure or attached to a house or deck and can be customized to the décor of your house or other buildings on the property.

Hot tub gazebos are often sold as kits that the homeowner can self-install. Some companies allow the customer to customize the kits to the smallest detail. Other companies will offer to build the entire hot tub gazebo at their warehouse and bring it completely assembled to the customer’s home. Even if a homeowner buys a gazebo kit, they can hire someone else to build it for them. Hot tub gazebos are not just for home use; businesses such as spas, resorts, luxury hotels, public swimming pools, and parks may have them, as well.

Deciding to buy a gazebo for your new hot tub is one of the larger investments you may ever make. No matter how simple or ornate, there is a company out there who can make your hot tub gazebo to your exact specifications at a price you can afford.
