Easy Home Remedies For Yeast Infection

First things first, Candida albicans is the yeast that causes yeast infection. In the natural form it is present in everyone. But naturally present bacteria in the genital area keeps an optimum check on the growth of this yeast. Once the growth of yeast crosses the desired level, they grow rapidly in number.

Now the causes of imbalance in the level of yeast are many. Primarily they are: abrupt change in hormones, use of antibiotics, change in the acidity in the vaginal area and wearing tight outfits that hamper the proper ventilation.

The commonplace remedies are anti fungal creams and prescription pills. The experienced women who are aware of the shortcomings of such creams and pills depend upon home remedies that give reliable results that too without any side effects. These remedies are not only for cure of the infection, they prevent infection. Another disadvantage of the over the counter medications is when used regularly, they lose their effectiveness.

The well known home remedy for yeast infection is the regular use of curds or yogurt. It is just like removing the thorn with another thorn. The bacterial content in the yogurt keeps the yeast growth in check. Another product derived through curds and buttermilk is a wonderful remedy for yeast. Take two glasses of buttermilk and make it a part of your daily diet, yeast infection or no infection.

Nearly 75% of the women suffer from yeast infection. Wherein, none of them would need to visit the physician, if they comply with the above requirement of making the buttermilk a part of their daily food habit.

There are many types of yeast infections or fungal infections. They are normally found in the mouth or in the vagina. The home remedy for this type of infection is to treat the areas prone to infection with apple cider vinegar. Put some garlic juice and dilute the vinegar concentration to the required level to counter itchy feeling. Another trustworthy tonic for yeast infection is olive leaf extract with grape fruit seed extract. Put them in a glass of water and stir them. Cranberry extract and cranberry blueberry extracts are good antioxidants. Their use to treat yeast infection is highly recommended.

Raw garlic juice is one of the best anti fungal treatments. Rub it on the affected area of the skin infection.

Apart from using the above mentioned home remedies, there is no harm if you consult your physician about your yeast infection problem. Most probably he will reserve the appreciative nod for the steps taken by you to cure yourself or may provide you with additional helpful hints.
